Resubscribing an Unsubscribed User

If a resident's email appears in red with a strike-through envelope icon, it means their email address has been unsubscribed. This usually happens when the recipient has clicked the unsubscribe link in a broadcast, or because the email address on file is incorrect or invalid and has bounced.

Unsubscribed residents will no longer receive broadcast emails from your building until they are resubscribed. The good news is that resubscribing is quick and can be done from either the browser or the app.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Onsite account.
  2. Go to your Dashboard.
  3. Using the Search bar in the top-right corner, enter the resident's email address.
    • Double-check the email is spelled correctly, an invalid address is often the reason it was unsubscribed in the first place.
  4. Open the resident's profile and click Resubscribe.

Check Your Work

Once resubscribed, the red strike-through envelope icon will clear, and the resident will start receiving broadcast emails again on the next send.
